Apparently MudMaster 2k6 runs okay in the latest version of WINE as long as you have wine configured with all the Windows dlls that are used. Here's a bit of wine setup advice I was sent.

Download the latest portable installer:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/mm2k6/files/
Install (for example: $ wine PortableMudMaster424Installer.exe)

$ wine PortableMudMaster434Installer.exe
$ winecfg
Libraries > New override for library: odbc32 > Add
$ wget http://www.dlldump.com/cgi-bin/testwrap/downloadcounts.cgi?
rt=count&path=dllfiles/O/odbc32.dll
$ wget http://www.dlldump.com/cgi-bin/testwrap/downloadcounts.cgi?
rt=count&path=dllfiles/O/odbcint.dll
$ cp ~/Downloads/odbc*.dll ~/.wine/drive_c/windows/system32/

Run it and it should be fine, I'm not sure if the mud sound protocol will
work without more DLL overrides though.
